THE OPPORTUNITYThe Administrative Assistant position provides high-level support to the Executive Team of Deseret Book Company. The ideal candidate is someone who is proactive in looking for ways to assist executives and teams in maximizing output and effectiveness. This individual will also provide backup support to the company President’s Office and reports to the Executive Assistant to the President. They will drive critical initiatives that support, build, and honor our company culture enabling our company to achieve our cultural beliefs. A successful candidate enjoys working with a variety of people, works well under deadlines and pressures, and finds satisfaction in working behind the scenes.
Responsibilities Include
Provides high-level administrative support to the executive leadership team with specific focus on 3 senior vice presidents.
Manage scheduling for executives, including agendas, mail, email, phone calls, client management, and other company logistics.
Report running and preparation for assigned meetings.
Prepare responses to correspondence containing routine inquiries.
Coordinate complex scheduling and calendar management, as well as content and flow of information to senior executives.
Maintain professionalism and strict confidentiality with all materials.
Assist with special projects and events, both internal and off-site.
Provide perspective and insight to improve culture and company.
Hybrid work schedule: two days in-office, three days remote
