Barry's P.O.V.

I woke up with Caitlin still in my arms so instead of getting up, I stayed there holding her. She stirred a bit but kept on sleeping.

I got a text from Joe saying he needed help at CCPD with a case so I had no choice but to get up from the couch.

"Hmm?" Caitlin said stirring.
"Shh, it's just me." I said rubbing her cheek.
"What time is it?" She asked.
"Seven."
"Oh my goodness. It's late." She said sitting up.
"Relax." I said rubbing her back. "Tell you what, I'm gonna go get ready, go to CCPD for a minute cause Joe needs my help and then I'll come pick you up."
"Okay." She nodded.

I went to her apartment, got her what she needed to get ready, went up to my room and got ready for the day.

"I'm heading out. Bye sweetheart." I said pecking her lips.
"Bye honey." She smiled.

I went to CCPD and found Joe in his office.

"Hey Joe. What's up?"
"I have a case. I'm thinking it's a meta human case."
"Okay. What did you find?"
"Well, there were people in a department store and they heard a very high pitched sound before blacking out. When they woke up the store was trashed, purses and wallets were stolen and so was the money in the cash register."
"Any videos, pictures?"
"No. Just a sketch of the guy." He said handing me the paper.
"Alright I'll work on it with Cait and Cisco."
"Okay. Let me know." He said nodding.
"I will." I nodded back.

I sped to my apartment to get Caitlin and headed to S.T.A.R. Labs.

"Hey Cisco." I said walking in with Caitlin's hand in mine.
"Hey." He smiled noticing our hands. "What's up?" He asked.
"We have a new meta."
"Really? What's the power?" Caitlin asked.
"He can manipulate sound."
"Like Hartley?" Cisco asked.
"No. Nothing like him. He used his gloves."
"Did this one have gloves?" Cisco asked.
"No."
"So those are his powers? No tech. Dark matter?"
"Yeah." I frowned.
"Great. Let's see how we work that one out."
"Same as Hartley." Caitlin shrugged.
"He doesn't have anything in his ears." Cisco sighed.
"We'll figure something out okay?" I said looking at them.
"Alright. I'll start making some earplugs for you." Cisco said walking out of the cortex.

I turned to Caitlin and he came back peaking his head through the door.

"By the way, congrats. I'm happy for you two." He smiled.
"Thanks Cisco." Caitlin and I said.
"Sure." He smiled and left.

I looked at Caitlin and smiled. "How about you and I go out on a date tonight?"
"Where to?"
"Maybe some dinner?"
"Sounds good." She smiled.
"Alright. I'll pick you up at seven okay?"
"I'll be ready." She nodded.

I winked and nodded. "I'm going back to my lab. Call me if you or Cisco need anything."

"I will." She nodded.

I went to my lab and worked on some cases I had. After that I went home and got ready for my date. I put on a white button up shirt with short sleeves, blue jeans and my Converse. I brushed my teeth and did my hair then when I finished I looked at my watch and noticed I was running late.

I sped to her apartment and knocked on the door.

"Coming!" She shouted.

I waited a good five minutes, until she opened the door. She had on a white long sleeved shirt, black jeans and black heels. Her hair was curled and she had a light amount of make up.

"How do you manage to look even more beautiful every day?" I ask raising an eyebrow.

She blushed madly and hid her face in her hands.

"Stop." She whined.
"No. I will never stop telling you how beautiful you are."

She sighed and flashed me that adorable smile of hers that makes my stomach go wild.

"Shall we go?" I ask putting my hand out.
"We shall." She said taking it. "But you're driving."
"Yes ma'am." I said taking the keys to her car.

We drove to the nice little restaurant and the waiter guided us to our table. We ate, laughed and talked our butts off. While we were driving back to her apartment, I noticed her frowning so instead of asking her what was wrong at the moment I just locked my hand with hers and smiled at her.

We walked into her apartment and sat on the couch.

"What's wrong." I asked looking at her.
"It's stupid." She said shedding a tear.
"Cait, it's not stupid if it's making you cry." I said moving closer to her. "You can tell me."
"I just don't want to lose you Barry. Everyone ends up leaving at some point."
"Hey. Look at me." I said moving her face to look at me. "You're not going to lose me. You won't."
"You promise?" She sniffled.
"I do baby." I said kissing her softly. "I love you more than anything, okay? And nothing or anyone will change that." I said kissing her again.
"I love you too." She smiled.

We kissed for a while, just holding each other. I laid down on the couch and she was on top of me, with her head nuzzled in my neck and I love that it fits perfectly. I was brushing her hair and rubbing her back while she fell asleep. After she did, I wrapped my arms around her and rested my head against her forehead gently. She smiled softly and sighed happily making me smile as well.
